Wedding Ready Skin With DMK Skincare

The Quest for Perfect Skin on my Wedding Day.

Before I get into the knit and gritty of this post I want to give you a run down on the brand I placed my trust in to get my skin wedding ready. DMK stands for Danné Montague-King the founder and creator, who has been a pioneer in the skincare industry since the 1960s. DMK’s concept of REMOVE, REBUILD, PROTECT, MAINTAIN aims to match an individual’s biochemistry with the appropriate skin therapy. Botanical-based paramedical products make up the DMK skin care program. With all this said I couldn’t find a bad/ negative review anywhere on the web and boy did I look.

I personally left my skin journey short (3 weeks), I wish I had started 3 months before, but Debbie my DMK Professional Skin Revision technician told me there was still hope to achieve my skin goals, which were for smoother skin, redness diminished and just overall more hydration . I’ll be updating this post as my in clinic treatments continue. Debbie has devised a plan of 3 in clinic treatments and at home regime to follow.

My first treatment consisted of a deep cleanse, a mild peel, some red vein serum applied which will help with my rosacea then the famous enzyme therapy, which enhances optimal skin functioning by working with the internal systems to increase circulation, oxygenation and lymphatic drainage tightens and strengthens the skin through enhanced collagen production.

At first, Enzyme therapy feels like all of the others, slightly thick in texture and normal. After a few minutes the mask will start to harden until finally it sets to a hard, it feels like concrete. It’s tight, a little itchy and feels as though the mask is alive because you can feel your skin start to pulsate. Sounds a bit odd but this mask enhances skin function by increasing circulation, oxygenation and lymphatic drainage, like I said above. It’s a type of reverse osmosis that flushes through the cells, clears toxins and free radicals and stimulates collagen production.

Once removed, Debbie then applied an infusion of products specific for my skin type and concerns. Lots of Biogen C, Seba - E drops and a Herbal and Mineral Mist. I was genuinely shocked at how much product was on my face and thought it would never absorb, but the Herbal Mist used assists with driving ingredients deep into the skin making this one of my new favourite products.

Round 1 In Clinic Treatment

Before (1st Clinic Treatment)
During My Enzyme Therapy
Plasmatic Effect After Enzyme Therapy
The Next Day

Skin felt extremely smooth and looked amazing, I couldn’t stop touching my, skin.

Round 2 In Clinic Treatment

After the Double Cleanse
Quick Peel (The Hot One) Applied

This peel was extremely hot but cooled down with a fan. The ingredient cassia from the Chinese cinnamon nut creates a pseudo heat that stimulates the surface vascular area which in turn causes a healing effect due to flushing fresh blood and lymph into the skin and removing old blood and lymph.

Enzyme Therapy Mask After 45 Mintues

It is impossible to look sexy in this mask. The mask sets like concrete, you can try and move your face but you won’t have much success.

Immediately after Enzyme Therapy Mask is Washed Off

Skin instantly looks fresher and redness reduced. I only had a small plasmatic effect after my second treatment which unfortunately didn’t show up in my photo.

At the End of my Second In Clinic Treatment

Round 3 In Clinic Treatment

After the Cleansing Regime
Enzyme Therapy Type 2 Mask Applied

This mask this is same as the original mask just the active ingredients are stronger.

After 3rd In Clinic Treatment

My skin looks overall clearer, smoother and more hydrated.

Overall I’m beyond happy with my results, it’s only been 3 weeks and I can already see changes in my skin which is relatively quick. I can also tell my rosacea is a lot calmer, which is one of my main concerns. I will continue to use some of the DMK Skincare products that I have at home. Some of the products I really loved and some I could pass on, though I will continue to use them all until I run out and then evaluate how my skins looking .

Some of the standout products for me were from the Enbioment Range, which is I lucky enough to try before it was available to the public. The Enbioment range reintroduces healthy bacteria and encourages the reestablishment of existing healthy bacteria essential to maintaining skin health. By rebalancing the microbiome of the skin, we help ensure the skin’s immune and mechanical barrier functions are performing optimally. The British Brand You Need to Know!

Let me tell you about Emma Hardie.

Firstly, let's get to know the lady behind the brand Emma Hardie. Emma is a successful facialist amongst her celebrity cliental and she understands how the skin works and what the skin needs to reach its full potential.

In 1996, Emma debuted her Natural lift & Sculpting facial with rave reviews from the beauty publications and her celebrity clients. Emma's goal was to deliver products that plump, hydrate and firm the skin, without the use of harsh ingredients. So in 2009 she did just that, she delivered an award- winning skincare system, that is suited to all skin types.

Emma Hardie products have become such a phenomenon online and around the world, especially loved by beauty guru Caroline Hirons from England. In Australia, Emma Hardie is available from TVSN, and for other countries view their stockist here. To see Emma Hardie products showcased on TVSN, tune in on...

The cult classic is of course the Moringa Cleansing Balm, this balm has the consistency of butter that just melts into your hands to nourish, hydrate and plump the skin, all whilst cleansing the skin in a calm and gentle way and not leaving your skin stripped of its natural oils. Great for those who wear heavy makeup, as its a great makeup remover, and its even safe on the eyes.

This ultra fine mist has a small amount of gold sparkly to give the skin that real glow. It also contains Aloe Vera to soothe the skin, Velvet Flower to help soften the skin, Wild Flower to tone, hydrate and protect, as well as the much needed hyaluronic acid to give our skin the moisturise it needs to appear more youthful and refined. Big fan of this mist, the smell is calming, relaxing and makes me feel happy. I also do really like the gold particals that give my skin that glowing effect.

The Age Support Eye Cream is really something, it has a thick consistency but spreads out to feel extremely velvety, soft and smooth. The cream contains some magic ingredients like Matrixyl 3000, rose hip and evening primrose. Matrixyl 3000 is palmitoyl-pentapeptide 3 and this is a peptide that specifically stimulates collagen synthesis and skin renewal. This is a great product to carry out long term effects if used daily.

Firstly, lets just say how beautiful is the packaging, the Brilliance Facial Oil comes in a glass bottle with dropper that is beautiful metallic colour. The packaging feels expensive and reliable. I have tried the oil on its own and mixed in with the Emma Hardie Age Support Face Cream. The oil absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy which is one of the main things I look for when buying an facial oil.
